It's done! The first draft of The Monochrome Landscape is finally complete. And it only took just short of twelve years. The final word count is 51876, rather than the planned 60k, but a few of the early chapters were a bit on the short side. All of that can be fiddled around with at a later date, but the most important thing is that the first draft is finished. I still have 6683 words to write for the Camp NaNo challenge, so I'm going to finish a couple of other projects and write some short stories. In theory, I should hit my planned 20k by this time next week.
